Feb 12 12 New Baby Girl
My wife and I are proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Abigail Kayleigh ShaTTuck.

Feb 12 12 Temporary Site Direction
While this site was never intended to be used as a personal website, especially in the age of
Facebook, until I can get back on my programming projects I figured I might as well make use of
the site's capabilities and brush up my PHP. Once things slow down a bit and I finish a few other
projects outside the scope of the website I will return back to my programming projects. I might
still most some minor software applications from time to time, though for now the major projects
have been disabled. Also many of the older projects have also been disabled due to incompatibilities
with the newer operating systems.
Finally I have also disabled the resumes as they were outdated and I currently have no need to look
for new employment. This does leave the site quite empty, however it will have to due for now.

April 05 09 Masters Degree Completion
Yet again it seems I cannot get around to updating the website which is the primary reason
I do not have a MySpace or Facebook account, anyway last fall I completed my masters degree from
Kansas State University. We have also purchased a new house that we moved into late last fall and
have accepted an offer on our previous home. As for code development after more than 8 months of
not working on the graphics engine I have
picked it up again and will start by trying to get the engine updated as graphics technologies
have obviously improved since I started on the project. I will also be replacing my existing
physics code with the PhysX system.

July 12 08 Quick Update
Obviously it has been quite a while since I last updated the website primarily due to
working towards my masters degree while working full time, however the ShaTTuckEngine has
been moving along slowly. I have disabled the demo of the engine as it no longer reflects
a remotely current state in its advancement.

Jan 12 06 New Graphics Demo
The new ShaTTuck Engine demo is available for download on the software page and
now includes a full installer available with or without DirectX 9.0c. I have
also added a little more PHP to the site and updated the Anime Collection.

Oct 02 05 Server Move and Time Away
Finally after almost a year of no updates I'm back! Its been a busy ten months
for both my work and home life. While I was working for Northrop Grumman I
took on the additional duties of Site Manager along with my software engineering
duties for the remainder of the contact. Once the contract was over I resigned from
NG and took my current job as an Operations Research Analyst with the Department
of Defense. Outside of work I was very busy planning and preparing for my
wedding which took place back in June, we then honeymooned in Hawaii!
While I have been very busy, I still managed to find some time along the way to work
on the ShaTTuck Engine and hope to have a nice demo with a full installation
available sometime next week, until then the extremely outdated version of
the engine has been removed from the software page. I have also moved ShaTTuckSoft.com
to a new server which provides more space for growth and has allowed me to update much of the site to php. The balk
of the php was wrote to make updating the content of the site quicker for me
as now all I have to do is update some text in a few XML files and all the rest
is handled for me by the php scripts. I still need to write a few more scripts but once I am finished
then I should have no more excuses for not updating the page more often.

Nov 21 04 ShaTTuck Engine GUI System Complete
I have finished creating the GUI for the ShaTTuck Engine,
formerly just called the New Engine, and have posted the new version.
I have also added one of the tools that I created while workingon the GUI.
You can find out more on the software page. I have also updated the
Resume pages, added a few links on the right, and removed my extremely boring
Programming Background History pages. I plan to continue work on the
ShaTTuck Engine both adding new functionality to the 3D engine and fixing
bugs in the GUI. I have also noticed that the XSL pages that make up the
Anime Collection are not functioning correctly with Fire Fox or Mozilla so
I will be looking into that as well.

Jun 29 04 Minor Updates
Only a few minor updates mainly to the look and feel of the site this time,
I hope to be adding some new software soon. Updates include:

Added home page for the anime collection where you can view the anime
collection with or without pictures.

Feb 10 04 Recent Updates
I know it has been a while since I have updated the page. I was hoping to
wait until I finished a new demo for my latest graphics engine, however
while the engine has come a long was since the current version on my
Software page, I haven't had the time with my new job to get it into the
state that I want to present it in. So until then here are a few updates
for you:

Fixed links on the Programming Background pages, and added a 4th page,
for all of you that enjoy a real boring read :).

Nov 4 03 Software Page Updated!
The software page has been updated with a Demo of a graphics engine I am
currently working on. Also the download sized of all the demos have been
posted.

Oct 20 03 ShaTTucksoft.com Updated!
With my final semester is in full swing I have decided to take the web site
in a new direction. I added my résumé and a background into my programming
experience with lots of new links to software I had created for learning
purposes. Most of the new software pertains to graphics programming as that
is the field of programming that I would most like to be involved with.
In the coming months I hope to add new graphics demos and 3D models if I can
get enough time away from work and school.
