ShaTTuck
Engine Demo Install (with DirectX 9.0c) (35.8MB)   ShaTTuck
Engine Demo Install Light (2.27MB)
Requirements:
DirectX
9.0c or better
|
This is the beginning of a new game
engine I am creating. I plan to continually
shell it out all the way so check back.
*Updated
7/12/08*
The demo has been temporarily removed as it does not reflect the updates made to the engine. A few of
the newly completed features include LUA scripting, sound, music, two camera systems: UVN and
quaternion based, and a fog system. Some of the features that need to be completed or updated include
a more advanced collision detection system, a new 3D model loader, per pixel shader, and additional
scripting options.

*Updated
1/10/06* This version include a 3D demo where you can move around a scene. The 3D engine is far from complete, though it is well on its way.
I have also complete an installer for the demo using NSIS. You have two options for downloading the demo, one
includes DirectX 9.0c which weighs in at a over 35 megs. The other installs only the demo itself and is only 2 megs, however if you choose
this option you will need have DirectX 9.0c, note the c, installed on your computer already. If you play any new games then
you most likely already have DirectX 9.0c.

*Updated
11/21/04* I have finished adding a new GUI
system that makes strong use of polymorphism resulting
in a GUI that can grow or shrink with ease. I
have added a load of frames to demo some of the
features the GUI offers.

Knights Fighting
Requirements:
DirectX 7 or better
(548KB)

*Currently disabled*
This was a program that was developed in
my simulation and modeling class in college. It uses the
Direct 3D graphics engine I developed over a year
earlier (see below). I didn't write
the finite state engine that is used in the demo (it
was a group project), however I did create the
graphics engine, including the 3D model file structure
and interfaced the graphics side with the simulation
side.

Small 2D

developed this demo while teaching myself DirectX,
primarily Direct Draw.

Anime
Fighter
(166KB)
|
*Currently disabled* Though it might be fun to make a java, or web based version of this game.
This is the first game I created. Don't
expect a lot from this, it was developed in my free
time during my freshman
year of college in mode 13h
with 320x200 resolution and runs very slow due to the
fact that I was opening image files every frame
instead of saving them in memory.
